Their rich history of elegance and refinement is seen in the latest additions to their Eyewear collection - DiorCannage & the CD Chain.
DiorCannage is named after the recognisable Cannage motif - also seen on the side of their iconic Lady Dior bag, but this time running down the sunglasses’ gold metal temples. This pattern entered Christian Dior’s life on the chairs in which his guests would sit, at his salon on Avenue Montaigne. On this latest collection the meticulous motif merges with another instantly identifiable house signature - the classic CD. A splash of modernity helps these pieces to stand-out, with their colourful lenses and variety of shapes - rectangular or pilot.
Like the chains weaved through Dior handbags, the CD Chain sunglasses fuse beautiful form with practical functionality. These frameless square-shaped sunglasses feature a CD hinge, inspired by the 30 Montaigne jewellery collection, in a gold finish that replicates interlocking chains. As always, Dior knows how to fuse what the modern woman needs with what they dream of. And we’re definitely dreaming of these.
